Through the Fruit of the Spirit: Gentleness (II) Galatians 5:23

This sermon talks about what the Bible says about gentleness.  It shows that being gentle does not mean you are weak or scared.  Instead, gentleness is actually strength under control. The pastor tells a story about a mean construction boss named Bubba who completely changes his attitude.  This story shows how letting the Holy Spirit guide you can turn angry behavior into kindness.  The sermon also explains that being gentle requires you to be willing to learn.  You must be humble enough to put other people's needs ahead of your own pride. By looking at the life of Jesus, the pastor shows that a gentle attitude is a powerful tool.  It can draw people to faith and help heal those who have been hurt by sin. Finally, the sermon gives simple tips on how to grow this trait in your own life.  These tips include listening without fighting back and staying calm and respectful when people are rude to you.
